CIEN5208 is a rugged, reliable Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch designed to meet the demands of various industrial applications. This switch features 8 dedicated 100M copper ports, each capable of delivering high-speed data transmission at wire speed for fast and smooth communication across the network. These ports are ideal for connecting a variety of industrial devices, such as PLCs, HMIs, and IP cameras, ensuring efficient and seamless data exchange in complex environments.

The CIEN5208 adopts a store-and-forward processing method, which supports wire-speed forwarding to maintain fast and stable data transfer, which is crucial in time-sensitive industrial applications. Built with industrial-grade components, this switch features a high-strength aluminum alloy housing and a fanless design, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and durability. It operates reliably in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C (AC models: -40°C to +75°C), making it suitable for harsh operating environments. The CIEN5208 supports a variety of network management protocols and functions, including MW-Ring v1/v2, ERPS, STP/RSTP, VLAN, QoS, port mirroring, static multicast MAC address binding, storm suppression, port statistics, network diagnostics, alarm notifications, and online system updates. These features improve the performance, reliability, and security of your network.
